What Does an LED Video Wall Cost? (2026)

"How much is an LED wall?" is the first question everyone asks and the hardest to answer in one number — because an LED wall is priced by the square foot, and that rate swings with pixel pitch, brightness, and environment. Here's how to think about it.

The biggest cost driver: pixel pitch

Finer pitch packs in more LEDs, so it costs more per square foot. As a rough, panels-only ballpark:

Pitch TierTypical UseBallpark / sq ft
Fine-pitch indoor (≤P1.9)Lobbies, boardrooms$240 – $380
Standard indoor / stage (≤P2.6)Retail, corporate, stage$170 – $260
Rental / outdoor (≤P4)Events, DOOH$120 – $200
Large-format outdoor (P5+)Billboards, arenas$85 – $150

Panels only. These are wide, order-of-magnitude ranges to set expectations — not a quote.

Skip the math. Our LED Wall Calculator turns your dimensions and viewing distance into a recommended pitch, panel count, resolution, power, and a ballpark investment — in about 60 seconds.

What the panels don't include

A finished, working wall usually adds several line items on top of the panels:

  • Video processor / controller — scales and drives your content.
  • Rigging or mounting — hanging frames, ground stacks, or wall mounts.
  • Cabling & power distribution — data and power to every cabinet.
  • Spares — a few extra modules and a power supply for fast fixes.
  • Installation & commissioning — labor, calibration, and sign-off.
  • Content — often the difference between "a screen" and "a moment."

Own it for years, not months

The best LED lasts 100,000+ hours. Factor in warranty and local service when you compare quotes — a slightly higher price with US-based support and spares almost always wins on total cost of ownership. For revenue-generating DOOH, many walls pay for themselves in ad sales; ask us to run the ROI with you.
